OverviewInternational PhD Program in Data Science & AI Application (IPDS)The main purpose of Data science is to withdraw value from data across various fields of academic knowledge, including statistics, data exploration, scientific methodologies, human intelligence (AI), and data analysis. This international program of data science (IPDS) boosts up many PhD students to build their careers in this emerging field of data science, where they will be well guided that many valuable intuitions are derived from massive amounts of raw data. It is planned accordingly the needs of academia and industry in the field of data science. In our curriculum there is a superb balance between theoretical and practical work, providing students with basic skills and state‐of‐the‐art technologies related to the upcoming generation of big data applications. Our IPDS is a fully English-taught program whose main purpose is to choose students of master’s degree with major engineering or science, where they are provided with a fully patterned professional curriculum to enable them to grow an executive career in the data science application field in the future. The IPDS graduates are effective enough to lead the evolution of the data science field with their professional skills and have enough expertise and techniques to challenge DS technologies and applications from every angle. The PhD in DS also provides a broad range of career building opportunities, including faculty positions in pertinent international data science and engineering academic institutions or supervisor vacancies in research institutes, moreover, the opportunity of senior managers and consultants in practical data science applications can also be attained.

Sustainable Energy
OverviewInternational PhD Program in Sustainable Energy (IPSE)Sustainable energy (SE) is a renewable energy supply that meets current needs without compromising the attributes that will allow people to meet their needs of the future. SE is currently the focus of development in countries around the world. The goal of the IPSE is to educate high-level professionals who will play a leading role and contribute to the development of SE technologies. Our IPSE is a fully English-taught program that targets master’s degree holders in engineering or science, with a full professional curriculum designed to enable them to develop a professional career in the energy field in the future. The curriculum covers Biofuels and Biomass energy, Biorefinery, Bioelectricity, Carbon Asset and Risk Management, Electrochemical Systems, Supercapacitor, Battery and Energy Storage Materials, etc. The IPSE combines the University’s outstanding faculty in SE with an international teaching environment to help students develop a complete expertise in energy technology, thereby building a solid green energy technology profession. Graduates of IPSE are capable of leading the development of the energy field with their professional skills and have the expertise and knowledge to tackle renewable energy and SE technologies. The PhD in SE also offers a wide range of career opportunities, including faculty positions in relevant international energy engineering academic institutions or supervisor positions in research institutes, as well as senior managers and consultants in practical energy plants.

Electrical Eng. & Computer Science
OverviewInternational PhD Program in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science (IPEEC) The goal of the electrical engineering and computer science program is to provide students with multi-field knowledge, including electrical engineering, electronic engineering, and computer science. The students joining the program can learn single or multiple professional abilities from different research areas, such as automation control, power system, circuit design, integrated circuits, semiconductors, optics, programming language, computer science, information engineering, etc. The curriculum in the program and the research process for the dissertation are to help students build their theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Finally, the students can integrate theory and practice and develop their own specialty.
